GatherSignal ("we", "us") is operated by Aitor Sánchez Mansilla, sole founder and owner. This policy describes what data we collect across our website (gathersignal.io) and our data tools, and how we handle it.

1. Information we collect

• Website forms: if you contact us or request a sample, we collect the details you submit (such as name, email address, company, and city of interest).
• Data tools: when you use our tools (for example, keyword-research or data-extraction tools published on third-party marketplaces), we process the inputs you provide (such as keyword lists or target parameters) solely to produce your results.
• Basic technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) kept for security and reliability.

2. How we use information

• To respond to your requests and deliver the products or samples you asked for.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website and tools.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Google APIs

Some of our tools retrieve public advertising statistics (such as keyword search volume) through the Google Ads API. These requests are made using GatherSignal's own authorized Google Ads credentials. Our tools do not access, collect, or store data from your Google account, and no Google user data of tool users is processed. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data sources of our datasets

The datasets we deliver to clients are compiled from publicly available information (such as public event listings and public business profiles). We honor removal requests: if you are an individual or business appearing in our datasets and wish to be removed, contact us and we will process the request promptly.

5. Data retention & storage

Form submissions and business records are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above. Data is stored on servers located in the European Union.

6. Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run our services (hosting, email), each bound by their own privacy commitments — never for their own marketing purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
